Impressive ‘Four Seasons’ sideboard with illuminated mirror by father and son Gaetano and Osvaldo Borsani for La permanente Mobili Cantù (Palazzi Dell’Arte) – 1930’s. It bears the label inside.
The mirror has four carved out images which represent the four seasons. Behind the images are light bulbs that illuminate them. Around the mirror are white glass panels, also with light bulbs behind them that can be illuminated.
The top of the sideboard has black glass.
This peace is a spectacle and real centerpiece.
The sideboard and mirror can also be used separate. They are attached to each other in the back by metal plates which can easily be removed.
