Glass wall sculpture by L. Reihs for Atelier Flos, signed 1977. This sculpture was initially designed as a window for a Berlage building in The Hague, Netherlands. Later it was turned into a wall sculpture. A second one in different colors (red) and shape available. Atelier Flos was founded by Felix Flos in 1900 in the city of Steyl. Atelier Flos designed windows for many churches and other buildings, among others by the great Dutch designer Berlage. Other artists that designed for Steyl / Atelier Flos where Frans Rievers, Frans Cox, Egbert Dekkers, Jan Dijker, Ted Felen, Eugène Laudy, Jos Pirkner, René Smeets, Daan Wildschut en Wim van Woerkom.

SoldAn iconic Dutch-Industrial desk or table lamp designed by Designer: and architect Louis Kalff; for the Philips Company, Holland 1955. This is the first edition with a brass frame and the black disk shaped perforated black lacquered shade. The shade is the miniature of the roof of the by Kalff in the 1950's designed distinctive building called "Evoluon" in Eindhoven, Netherlands, which now houses the Technology Museum. The lamp is signed on top with the Philips trade mark in copper.

The wall unit is made of black lacquered wood pilars, teak veneer shelves and cabinets and brass hinges. The pilars have adjustable brass feet for leveling. The overall condition is very good with some normal signs of age and use in the manor of small scuffs and dings. The shelves and cabinets can be placed as wanted because it is a modular system. It can also be expended with extra units and shelves to and endless size.
