Exclusive edition wall unit by Poul Cadovius in Teak and Brass. This is an exclusive edition because of the solid brass hinges and solid teak wall mounts. Normally the hinges are made of black lacquered metal and stained beech wood wall mounts. The brass hinges have not been polished to maintain the patina but on request we can have them polished to a shiny gold colour (like new). The drawers inside the fold out cabinet have beautiful butterfly shaped fronts (normally made straight). The cabinets, shelves, hinges and wall mounts still remain in very good (almost excellent) condition. Very minor signs of age and use.

Exceptional and extremely rare three piece Le Mura sofa by Mario Bellini for CASSINA, Italy - 1970's. It is similar to the Camaleonda sofa by Mario Bellini. However this sofa was shorter in production and much less produced and therefore even rarer. Where the Camaleonda is not so comfortable in use the Le Mura is. Le Mura stands for 'the walls' and this name and design of the sofa resemble the large stones that were used to build the ancient Roman walls and roads. It still has the original Mohair velvet fabric which is of the highest Italian quality and durability. The three sections attache to each other with chrome metal buckles that hook into each other, but they can also be used separate as lounge chairs. The sofa still remains in exceptionally good and beautiful condition with few signs of age, use and wear. The shape is still like it has to be and the fabric is also in very good and clean condition. It has some very light fading to the colour (the fading appears much worse in the photo's but that is caused by the hint of the velvet fabric and the camera lights). The stripes in the fabric are creme beige grey and the other chocolate brown. From some angles the colour of the fabric seems almost grey / taupe and from other angles light brown / camel. All three sections are the same colour, although in the photo's is does not always seem like that. This is a real eye-catcher and centerpiece in any interior and we are very proud to have it in our collection.

Iconic Elda chair by Joe Colombo for Comfort, Italy - circa 1960. The leather has tears and wear. The fiberglass is in very good condition. The ‘Elda’ chair is one of the most well-known designs of Italian designer Joe Colombo. This lounge chair is one of the first designs using new material fiberglass in a great amount. Joe Colombo named this design ‘Elda’ in honor of his wife. The white fiberglass shell is fitted with black leather cushions that support the sitter from all sides. The way the leather is tufted in thick tubes characterizes the ‘Elda’ lounge chair in an unparalleled manner. The ‘Elda’ chair is also represented in the collection of the Museum of Modern Art in New York and the Louvre in Paris.
